Some things I've noticed at UBC:
1) People can actually speak English! Unlike those anonymous Asians at Magee.
2) People usually know what's going on in class, and aren't retarded (although there are some exceptions).
3) You feel stupid compared to the rest of the people in your class.
4) The really old (60+) students really shouldn't be going to school; and it is also a mystery why they do. Now, I normally wouldn't mind this, but must they ask retarded questions? Or act like an asswipe (AHEM... I am referring to someone in physics)?
5) (Most) arts people are exactly how I imagined them to be.
6) Most engineering guys are perverts, probably due to the lack of females in their program.
7) Good-looking people exist (again, unlike at Magee).
8) There are, surprisingly, people shorter than me.
